Pulse Yoga - Video Clip 2
Pulse Yoga is the result of my personal search for the routines of yoga that are trying to get a lot more than other yoga styles. A few years ago I was diagnosed with osteopenia. Osteoporosis which is almost but not quite. I was shocked when I did yoga for many years and consider myself to be in excellent physical condition. The doctor told me I had to do a certain type of strength training. I never liked working in a gym, I always prefer yoga. Even I did not wantgiving up valuable time for my yoga practice, so I decided to incorporate free weights into my routine of yoga. As a woman in my 50, I wanted to build more muscle, strength and muscle definition, again without the use of machines in the gym. Thus, in addition to the dumbbells, I added, the micro-movements that primarily target areas like the buttocks, abdomen, arms and back.
